New Pelican 3315 Safety Approved Flashlight

Lighting manufacturer Pelican will be introducing a brand new intrinsically safe flashlight, the Pelican 3315 3AA flashlight.  The Pelican 3315 is a compact flashlight that runs on 3 AA batteries.  It will be safety rated Class I, II, and III, Div 1, and ATEX Zone 0.  Confused about safety ratings?  Read our post on what safety ratings mean and how to decipher them.  Let’s break down the specifications:

The new Pelican 3315 LED flashlight measures 6″ long x 1.6″ head diameter x 1.6″ body diameter.  The body design is very well thought out to fit nicely in your hand.  The included security lanyard doubles as a tool to open the battery case.  The beam pattern of the Pelican 3315 is very focused – it has a bright, narrow center hot spot with minimal spill light.
