Fenix TK75 LED Searchlight Announcement

Flashlight manufacturer Fenix is launching a new 2600 lumen flashlight at the end of November – the Fenix TK75.  It uses 3 Cree XM-L U2 LEDs to produce a super-bright 2600 lumen beam with a distance of 1988 feet – all in a flashlight that measures just over 7″ long.

The Fenix TK75 flashlight runs on 4 rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion batteries, which are not included with the light.  The TK75 will run for 1.15 hours in high and up to 200 hours in the lowest setting of 18 lumens.  It has a total of 4 brightness levels plus strobe and SOS.  Like their larger TK series lights, the Fenix TK75 will have dual pushbutton switches near the head of the light.  One will turn the light on an off, and the other will control the brightness level.  The Fenix TK75 will produce a wide area of light with an 80 degree beam angle.  But it will also have a good hotspot that will travel almost 2000 feet.  Overall it seems to have a nice balance of beam distance and peripheral light.

Fenix TK75 Specifications

Fenix TK75 Beam Distance
The Fenix TK75 will have a balance of flood and spot beam.

The Fenix TK75 flashlight can be extended with additional battery tubes and battery holders.  Fenix claims that the run time will double with each additional battery tube, but the brightness will stay the same.  In it’s smallest size, the TK75 will measure 7.2″ long with a body diameter of a little over 2″.  For those of you familiar with Fenix lights, it will be about 3/4 of an inch longer than their TK35 flashlight, making it extremely powerful for its size.

Fenix TK75 Size Comparison
The Fenix TK75 will have the option of being extendable. In its smallest size, it will be slightly longer than the TK35 flashlight.

The Fenix TK75 should be available at the beginning of December, and it will retail for $199.95.  The Fenix TK75 will be available for purchase on BrightGuy.com.  BrightGuy stocks over 450 types of flashlights and is an authorized distributor for Streamlight, SureFire, Fenix, Underwater Kinetics, Princeton Tec, Petzl, LED Lenser, Pelican, and more.
