Petzl e+Lite Emergency Headlamp
Prominent headlamp manufacturer Petzl has just redesigned one of their signature lights- the Petzl e+Lite headlamp. This ultra-compact light is perfect for backpackers, campers, or to keep in case of an emergency. It will run for up to 55 hours in high and 70 hours in low on two replaceable 2032 coin-cell batteries. The lithium batteries have a 10 year shelf life, so the Petzl e+Lite headlamp is a great option to leave in a drawer and only use during an emergency.
The Petzl e+Lite headlamp has 5 output modes that are selected by the rotary switch – low white, high white, flashing white, flashing red, and off. The switch is designed so that you can choose to have the white LEDs come on first or the red LED come on first. Start the switch at the top to have the white LEDs be the default, or start the switch at the bottom to have the red LED be the default. The switch has a lock-out position, so you don’t have to worry about the Petzl e+Lite turning on in your pack.
