The main difference between the two pen lights is that the 5410 runs on AAA batteries and the 5412 runs on AAAA batteries.  The 5412 is longer and thinner than the 5410 because it runs on three AAAA batteries.  It also has a higher output and a little bit shorter run time.  One of the great things about the Nightstick 5410 and 5412 penlights is that they carry very high safety ratings.  Both are ETL Listed Class I, II & III, Div 1 Groups A-G, and are intrinsically safe.
