High quality flashlight manufacturer Fenix just announced the release of a successor to their popular PD32 Ultimate Edition flashlight, the Fenix PD35 flashlight.  The Fenix PD35 will have a similar form factor to the PD32, but it will have an even brighter CREE XM-L U2 LED.  Let’s take a look at the specifications:

The coolest thing about the Fenix PD35 flashlight is the fact that it is so small, yet so bright.  It features Fenix’s dual pushbutton switches, with a tail switch for primary on/off and a body switch to select the brightness level.  Like it’s predecessor, the PD35 can run on either 2 non-rechargeable CR123 lithium batteries or a single 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion battery.  This dual-power option gives you a lot of versatility when using the flashlight.

The Fenix PD35 will have a broader beam pattern.  Instead of having minimal spill light with a bright center hot spot, the PD35 will have more of an even, floody beam with a bright hot spot and bright peripheral light.  It will have a beam distance of just over 600 feet.
